Sambalanco is a community band playing Afro-Brazilian carnival rhythms based in Hastings, East Sussex.

We are a fun loving community samba group where everyday people from all walks of life can come together to collaborate by playing simple rhythms well. Something magical that truly moves people.

We perform throughout the year, particularly at processions in Hastings, such as Jack in the Green and the Hastings Borough Bonfire Society parade. We are available to hire for carnivals, fetes, festivals, parties, workshops and all gatherings, large or small.

We practice every wednesday evening in the upstairs room at The Carlisle public house on the seafront from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, so please come and join in. We charge only £3 to attend, and your first time is free.
